Jordan always knew he wanted to finish his degree. He wanted to continue his family’s legacy as first generation college students and set an example for his daughter about the value of education.
“I want her to grow up knowing that chasing your dreams, even when it is hard, is worth it.”
Working full time made it hard to imagine fitting school into his life. Future Forward CT changed that. The flexible schedule let him learn on his own terms, and his coach supported him through each milestone.
“When I started the program, I was determined to finish my degree, but I had no idea how I would fit school into the mix. Finishing finally felt real.”
Jordan strengthened his time management, self discipline, and analytical thinking. These habits helped him approach school and work with more structure and confidence.
“I am most proud of putting one foot in front of the other and not giving up. I will celebrate the journey and for that I am proud.”
Now Jordan is working toward his bachelor’s degree and plans to pursue a master’s in the future. He hopes to use what he has learned to grow in his career, support his family, and inspire others to take the next step.

He carries one reminder with him.
